WORK GROUP PURPOSE AND TENTATIVE WORK PLANS (For all work groups except Prevention*)
PURPOSE: To assess the community’s performance and capacity in addressing the focus question and to develop a strategic plan and an action plan for a collaborative respond to any identified needs or opportunities.
* Prevention work plan has already been established through Project Respect planning process
TENTATIVE WORK PLAN (Milestones):
· December 3, 2008: Work group to be solidified team with contact person and wiki wizard selected.
· Wiki Wizard training at Mountain Crisis Office – Date to be announced.
· January 9, 2009: Work Group to finalize focus question and present work plan to Council.
· July 1, 2009: Present Needs and Assets Assessment to Council.
· October 7, 2009: Present Community Goals for focus area.
· December 2, 2090: Present Community Objectives for focus area.
· March 3, 2010: Present Action Plan to Council for focus area.

PREVENTION FOCUS QUESTION: Before relational violence occurs, are we, as a collaborative group, making a positive impact on eliminating or reducing the 1) occurrences or 2) effects or 3) causes of relational violence regarding:
A) the community as a whole,
B) specific population, and/or
C) at risk groups?
